Position Description: Develop & manage departmental computer records, databases, and mailing lists on the Department's clinical sites, student clinical experiences, Department's alumni and outcome-based assessment surveys, and accreditation reports. General word processing duties, assist faculty with records management, arrange clinical education conferences. Assist academic and clinical faculty, staff, and students in the use of computer hardware and software. Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, operate, and control equipment within a computer system; maintain and update department web page; provide routine equipment maintenance. Part-time receptionist duties for the PT Department. This position is supervised by the Department's Director of Clinical Education. When performing receptionist duties in the afternoon, this position is supervised by the Administrative Officer. This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications: ? Two years of college or 5 years information management experience
? Must have information management skills, to include organizational/prioritizational abilities to manage an expanding departmental clinical database and requests to assist with technical problems
? Able to type a minimum of 50wpm
? Prior experience with computer software applications including word processors, databases, spreadsheet programs, Access database, and hardware set-up and maintenance
? Prior work experience that reflects expertise with the above software applications
? Subject to Criminal History Background Check
? Detail-oriented to manage information in database and flow of information from department to clinical sites
? Effective interpersonal communication skills to communicate with a variety of parties, including students, faculty, and technicians
