Job: Certified Nursing Assistant (Haaland Estates)

Description: Provides care to assigned residents in a caring, safe and efficient manor, is responsible to perform the duties according to Assisted Living Manor mission. Responsibilities and duties may range and vary depending on assigned scheduled tasks or those occurring spontaneously related to tenant need. Duties include, but not limited to, serving meals and assisting in dining room, housekeeping in tenant apartment as well as facility cleaning, laundry and personal care tasks. The job is a multifaceted position with many elements aside from nursing. This could include chore or errand type of duties. This position requires self-regulation and ability to set own schedule yet prioritize duties while maintaining flexibility as unplanned events and needs arise. Is required to assist with call coverage and weekend & holiday shifts.

High school education is required. Must have a positive feeling for the elderly and be able to work with them. Experience preferred but not required. Must be willing to be trained and pass any required certification as well as continuing education. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must have a current ND driver's license and be insurable by facilities carrier.

Working primarily in Haaland Estates Assisted Living Complex with daily duties in tenant apartments. May require some duties involving tasks that take you out into the community for errands or tenant appointments. Potential of exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous cleaning materials, and other conditions common to a health care environment. Will have regular contact with tenants, family members, other staff, and the public.
