Land O Lakes Milk, produced and distributed by Dean Foods Company, one of the nation's leading food and beverage companies, has an excellent wage and benefit opportunity for a Class A, Tractor Trailer Delivery Route based in Minot, ND. Under minimal supervision, responsibilities include all delivery route activities including:

Deliver and service major accounts as well as perform other deliveries that may occur

4 day work week, home daily

*
Learn and maintain knowledge of all products sold

*
Promote the entire line of Land O'Lakes and Dean Foods products

*
Represent the company with integrity at all times

*
Maintain route books and route accounting completely and accurately

*
Observe all company and DOT rules and regulations.

Job Requirements

* Possess Current Class A license
* Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
* Able to pass and maintain all DOT physical examination, drug / alcohol screen and medical card requirements
* Know how to conduct pre- and post- trip inspections of equipment and keep mechanics informed of any issues
* Knowledge of and know how to complete DOT Compliance paperwork and log books including use of onboard computer system (XATA)
* Have a clean driving record for the last five years
* Be able to accurately complete fuel and mileage reporting
* Write legibly
* Reside in/near Minot, ND
* Be able to work alone, keep a schedule, and be self-motivated
* Neat in appearance and wear company uniform while on duty
* Have the ability to maintain self-control under various circumstances
* Be willing to work with Distribution Manager/Sales persons and follow direction
* Be able to trouble shoot on your own
* Balance being assertive and being a team player at all times
* Have knowledge of the Intermec Handheld and printers or other similar equipment
* Be willing to accept and deal with change
* Have a complete and current driver file with all qualifications needed on record
* Be willing to pass and complete random drug testing when called on
