Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, geosciences, environmental science, and/or natural science with at least four years of experience in soil and groundwater characterization/assessment, hydrogeology, remediation and the ND Contaminated Sites Regulations.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently with limited oversight, both in the office and in the field.

Must be able to work effectively with teams.
Job Description: The successful candidate will manage and be responsible for elements of various environmental projects under the guidance of a URS project manager or principal in charge. Current projects include an array of operating remediation systems that require monitoring and maintenance, remediation system design, remediation system installations and managing large compliance groundwater monitoring and sampling programs. Possible projects include contaminated site assessments, remediation design, implementation and maintenance; assessment and reporting.

Position will work with clients to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Position will also spend time in the office managing and interpreting data, helping to organize and prepare for field work, and drafting figures, data tables, and reports. Position will work directly with URS project team including project manager, but will also have interaction in the field with the clients and client staff at their sites. Position will have limited interaction with regulatory agencies and may need to assist in providing technical presentations to both regulatory agency and client staff. Will also interact with multi-office and multi-discipline teams within URS.
