About the Opportunity

The PTI Group USA, LLC has two excellent opportunities for Environmental Health & Safety Specialists to join their skilled teams.

The Wyoming role will be hands on in the day-to-day environmental, health & safety functions for the Mountain West Oil Field Service in Cheyenne or Casper, WY. The North Dakota role will be a Camp-Based role overseeing the day-to-day environmental, health & safety functions in Dickinson, North Dakota. Both positions will involve providing maximum safety benefits for the staff at the facility and at remote locations, as well as serving as the divisions designated safety and occupational health advisor to ensure compliance.

Specifically, you will:

* Establish and communicate environmental, health & safety policies and procedures to division staff;
* Train division staff on environmental, health & safety policies and procedures;
* Monitor all divisions‚ locations to ensure OSHA compliance;
* Assist operations personnel with obtaining MSDS and training staff on applicable hazards;
* Investigate incidents and complete necessary paperwork;
* Follow up with implementation of modified work duty and return to work programs for injured workers;
* Ensure all staff is properly trained on OSHA & EPA programs and complete the required orientations;
* Provide resource material for safety meetings, as well as collating and distributing of safety meeting minutes;
* Work with site management on resolution and communication of worker concerns and the coordination of activities relating to group communication at the job site;
* Attend toolbox and regular safety meetings on a regular scheduled basis;
* Act as a resource to assist in development and revision of safe work practices and job procedures, as well as monitor/evaluate compliance to the practices and procedures.

These are excellent opportunities for individuals who have a similar background in Environmental Health and Safety. You must be highly knowledgeable of safety and health regulations, regulatory interaction processes and incident response and investigation.

Importantly, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player, with strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. You will have the motivation to work autonomously and be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. This role requires an individual with strong organizational and analytical skills. You will have strong computer skills with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
