We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources department as a HR Business Partner (HRBP).
The HRBP is responsible for administration of human resource programs, procedures, and plans. S/he may assist in policy development and provides valuable advice and assistance to all levels of employees on various HR-related issues. Our Amazon HRBP's traditionally have one or more areas of expertise, including employment, organizational design, employee relations, recruiting, compensation, FLSA, benefits, HRIS, safety, or training. The HRBP provides front line support to both managers and employees at the site.
The HRBP is considered an employee advocate and responsible for reporting any issues relating to employees to the HR Manager. This individual must take a hands-on approach and be comfortable with, and able to connect to, employees at all levels. S/he must be able to build respectful and trusting relationships both within and outside of the local site and "gets" that employees are HR's valued customers
Job responsibilities include:
* Active involvement with internal customers to assure questions and concerns are being addressed.
* Staying up-to-date with issues and concerns relating to the work environment.
* Implementing procedure and policy as related to the HR Department
* Making certain all employment regulations are met and providing insight and consultation regarding nonstandard queries.
* Identifying and resolving basic and complex issues.
Employee Relations
* Coaches and educates managers on resolving routine, low risk employee relations issues.
* Looks to more senior team members for guidance on highly complex or high risk issues.
* Responds proactively to employee and manager issues
* Supports site communications
* Implements contemporary compensation practices
Organizational Development
* Leading peak hiring at the site
* Supports the roll out of company-wide HR programs.
* Hiring and retaining top hourly talent
* Building internal networks
* May participate in the design and delivery of training and education programs.
Compliance
* Executes HR policies, practices, programs and processes and ensures they are understood and used consistently throughout their area of responsibility.
* Executes policy, practice, program and process improvements. May identify and recommend enhancements to senior HR leadership.

Basic Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a strong recruiter and generalist who is able to balance the needs of the business, employees, and management. S/he must have experience resolving a issues within team/department in imaginative as well as practical ways. S/he must have a track record of sound judgment and knowing when to reach out for assistance. S/he will be known for integrity and always "doing the right thing." Finally, s/he must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage the competing priorities of several teams and departments in a very fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Qualifications for HR Business Partner with Amazon.com
The ideal candidate will have BA/BS degree and two or more years' experience in exempt HR management in an hourly environment of at least 150+ employees.
Candidates with 4+ years of experience, PHR, MA/MBA, and Fortune 500 experience are strongly preferred, as are candidates with experience recruiting a large and/or seasonal hourly workforce.
