Description

Summary of Position:

The Maintenance Scheduler/Planner is responsible for providing the Planning and Scheduling services along with improving maintenance workforce effectiveness by eliminating potential for delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of parts, equipment, personnel and contractors. This person will also be responsible to prepare and monitor an optimum work execution plan to meet safety, cost, quality and schedule targets using the approved process of maintenance and operation strategy.

Roles/Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop work schedules for routine and corrective/breakdown maintenance activities for all non-emergency maintenance work.

Develop job plan packages for maintenance work and small modification projects while assuring that work orders are assigned proper work order type and other codes

Clarify and coordinate appropriate maintenance work execution, plan/schedule with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure proper safety, optimum, efficiency, and on-target completion of work is performed

Provide weekly approved and planned maintenance work to be executed for the following week to better maximize usage of the skills and number of resources available to execute the work during the scheduling time.

Ensure that the procedures and material used comply with government regulation, Hess specification, applicable codes/standards and have consistent approach towards EHS procedures, environmental management and standards.

Populate and update the SAP job plan and PM schedule base on the approved maintenance strategy.

Populate and update the asset register data inside SAP.

Develop the maintenance statistical report and other work progress report from SAP and other sources including the cost.

Demonstrate appropriate safety behaviors and commitment to environmental policies

Compliance with environmental regulations and targets

Report all incidents and accidents

Carry out emergency response duties where necessary

Maintain complete and accurate records within the computerized Maintenance Management System

Manage relevant reporting and administration work based on the needs of the respective organization (including data recording, correspondence, etc. - based on the function of this position).

Ensure the confidentiality of the company's documentation.

This position will spend approximately 50% of his/her time in the field.

Qualifications

Skills/Competencies:

Knowledge of SAP to utilize it as a computerized maintenance management system.

Ability to plan, schedule and perform all operational and maintenance activities in all operating field by inputting and scheduling work order to SAP.

Experience with Microsoft project as tools for defining maintenance scheduling.

Ability to issue monthly work order statistic report and safety critical equipment backlog work order report for operation.

Ability to monitor and prioritize work order status, review operating procedures and job plan based on operating manual, generic maintenance strategy and historical records.

Capacity to maintain interconnection on all on-going projects from beginning to end by providing technical expertise, planning and/or maintenance-related feedback.

Ability to assign and check necessary permit, personnel, support and safety equipment to all maintenance work; including ensuring that the assigned personnel possess required certifications to perform maintenance work.

Experience:

* 5-10 years relevant industry experience
* Self-motivated to learn and apply new technologies
* Perform effectively in a multitasking environment
* Ability to mentor and coach others
* Experience with continuous improvement processes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education/Training:

* High School Diploma/GED required, additional education and certifications preferred.
