Description Senior level technical leadership position primarily focused on transmission/distribution system planning, interconnection planning, interconnection agreements, cost of service studies, and regulatory design issues. Will be responsible for managing clients, projects and design teams in the system planning group. Will lead QA/QC processes and mentor existing system planning staff to perform larger scale system impact and interconnection studies. Will be responsible for consulting related to compliance with federal, regional and local regulatory agencies and transmission organizations. Will manage analytical tools for system analysis, generation interconnection, transmission service and transmission expansion process to meet regulatory and utility guidelines. There is an expectation to travel and lead design efforts with projects primarily located throughout North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana.

Requirements BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
At least 10 years in transmission/distribution system planning.
P.E. license required.
Knowledge in transmission and distribution planning design and power system analysis including computer applications is required. Previous work experience in a senior technical and/or leadership role either with a utility or consulting engineering firm is preferred. Ability to travel as needed.
