POSITION SUMMARY:
Manages all aspects of one or more computerized systems or many aspects of a variety of systems, either directly or through service providers: server platforms, IT or business applications, or key infrastructure systems such as Active Directory, system security, internal or external networks, or disaster recovery. Includes design, build and operation. May also train and support those who use the systems. Typically provides level 3 support behind Technical Support Specialists.

JOB INTERACTIONS AND INTERFACE:
This position interacts with all levels of staff at Cetero as well as vendors, suppliers and external visitors.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
?The primary differentiator between levels is business impact. Typically, greater business impact will require greater depth of knowledge, skills, and experience in one system or a few systems. However, particularly at Level III, an equivalent impact may require (either instead or in addition) the broader capabilities needed to manage a variety of systems.
?Level I has responsibilities in the middle levels of scope, complexity and impact. Higher levels have responsibilities in the upper levels of scope, complexity and impact.
?More junior levels assist more senior levels. More senior levels provide guidance and direction to more junior levels.

Responsibilities below apply to all levels.
?Work with the Quality Assurance group in the development/revision and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures as required.
?Ensure compliance with appropriate Cetero SOP?s GCP and ICH guidelines.
?Ensure personal resume (CV) is updated annually as required.
?May be required to keep personal training file updated on a regular basis.
?Participate in training sessions.
?Work in a safe manner that does not endanger yourself or co-workers.
?Strive to consistently uphold Cetero?s core values.
?Execute other duties as may be required by site specific management level and other members of Cetero Research Management team as training and experience allow.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
?2 years IT infrastructure related technical degree and 3 years IT infrastructure experience or 4 year college degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related degree and 1 year IT infrastructure experience or 5 years equivalent experience providing technical IT support in a Microsoft technical environment.
?Included in the above experience, or in additional years? experience:
1.1 year?s experience in a highly interactive customer service oriented organization, plus
2.1 year?s specialized experience with Cetero specific applications and/or infrastructure.
?IT infrastructure, with an emphasis on foundational or larger-scale infrastructure or applications.
?Engineering and operating fundamental technologies, such as servers, IP-based local and wide area network, telephony and network security.
?Thorough knowledge of specific systems supported.
?Evaluating and selecting hardware and commercial software.
?Selecting and managing service providers.
?Demonstrated ability to perform effectively at this Level, as described under ?General Responsibilities?.
