TMI HOSPITALITY - JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Telecommunications Analyst

REPORTS TO: VP of Telecommunications

LOCATION:TMI Hospitality Development Office

DEPARTMENT: Office Administrator

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Major Functions: Provides technical and customer service
support to property and department staff. Typical duties may include
the following: Review and analyze phone bills, provide customer service to
properties for telecom related issues, document service call data, and prepare
reports regarding service call statistics, and captured savings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

85% Completes telecommunications billing analysis

* Reviews and analyzes phone bills

* Works with phone companies to resolve billing disputes

* Determines and maintains telecom facility inventory

* Communicates with customer Accounts Payable on bills to be paid

10% Provides customer services related to property telecommunications
services

* Responds to customer service calls and forwards service requests to as
appropriate.

5% Other duties as assigned

* Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or six months to one
year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and
memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability
to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATH ABILITY:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using
whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate,
ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to
apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished
in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving
several concrete variables in standardized situations.

MENTAL DEMANDS:

Fairly diversified job requiring intermittent sustained mental effort and
some organization and planning.

SOCIAL CONTEXT:

Frequent contact with employees, clients and
public. Requires more than
the average poise and tact in presentation of material. Some access to
confidential information.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Normal 40 hour work weeks with limited overtime. No travel required.

COMPUTER OPERATIONS:

Proficient personal computers kills including electronic mail, record keeping/reporting,
routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, specialized software
(accounting, human resources, etc.), presentation, etc.
