Transmission & Distribution Engineering Technician Description: Ulteig is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Transmission & Distribution Engineering Technician in our Minneapolis office. The Engineering Technician supports the engineers and designers during the planning, design and construction of engineering projects. Performs non-routine and complex assignments under minimal supervision. Visualizes and portrays complex design features. Handles multiple projects and prioritizes work. Provides technical drafting support and plots data from direction. Compiles engineering data from drawings or field notes.

A Two-year technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role. Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD and other drafting/modeling software desired. Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) and additional software knowledge depending on the specialty.
