Location: Enderlin, ND Oilseed and Specialty Ingredients Processing Complex
Position Summary
This is a Supervisor position for the ADM Co- Generation plant in Enderlin. Applicants must have the aptitude and skillset necessary to perform mechanical system troubleshooting, solve process problems, resolve conflict, complete reports, and influence safe work practices upon fellow employees.  Applicants must be willing to train and direct hourly and contract employees.  New hires placed directly into the Supervisor position, must learn the hourly Utility and Operators positions within 18 months.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate ownership of business and management goals and lead team to align their efforts with those goals.
  • Leads by example by practicing ADM’s core values – Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Resourcefulness, Teamwork and Responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, and ADM health and safety work practices. 
  • Supervise a Cogeneration plant with high pressure boiler and turbine operations including maintenance scheduling, and material handling duties including receiving and loading biomass/chemicals/ash/materials.
  • Overseeing water treatment and lab analysis of boilers and cooling tower.
  • Supervise Maintenance and Contract work forces including the issuing of all applicable safety and work permits.     
  • Manage and prepare operating budget, including Capital and Operating expenses.
  • Preparation of Capital and Expense RFEs (request for expenditures).
  • Own/implement the preventative maintenance program.
  • Oversee facility safety, environmental compliance and operations.
  • Perform hourly and salaried employee reviews.
Job Requirements:
  • Must possess math, science, and problem solving skills. 
  • Must be able to work in all types of climates both inside and out including temperature extremes, noisy environments, heights and confined spaces.
  • With training, must be able to operate heavy equipment including overhead cranes, payloaders, forklifts, and skidsteers. 
  • Attendance and punctuality is required.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • All employees are subject to random drug screens
  • Applicant must have the ability to direct others, make timely decisions, complete safety and work permits, and perform lockouts on equipment.   
  • Previous supervisory experience and a strong technical background.
  • Experience in work order planning preferred.
  • Experience Required: 5 years of power plant employment or relevant supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, military training in boiler operations,
