Position Summary
  • Responsible for the automation design, engineering, manufacturing, and startup of discrete assembly process solutions, supervising peers and leading a multi-functional team
  • Develops technical solutions by means of implementing systems or enterprise wide solutions, using the company’s or a third-party’s hardware/software products. Develops and recommends solutions and strategies, based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure
  • Manage relationship with customers to maintain customer loyalty and actively seek for areas of technical improvements to drive customer production optimizations
  • Participates in pre-sales and proposal activities such as solution determination, estimation, conceptual design and customer presentation.
  • Coordinates the work of the project delivery team to meet the project plan
  • Provides the tracking and reporting to the management as required
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, ethically and environmentally responsible workplace and business


 

Qualifications
Minimal experience required
 
  • Typically three to five years of experience in the automotive industry or other industries with discrete assembly processes related to the automation and commissioning of complex systems such as special robotized assembly machines, assembly lines (automatic, semi-automatic or manual),  Poka-Yoke systems, End-of-Line Test Systems
  • Capable of understanding electrical design/wiring diagrams
  • Conversant with MS Office software products Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel (up to 66% of time)


Experience required for Professional Level (as addition to the minimal experience):
 
  • Typically five or more years’ experience in the automotive industry or other industries with discrete assembly processes related to the automation and commissioning of complex systems such as special robotized assembly machines, assembly lines (automatic, semi-automatic or manual),  Poka-Yoke systems, End-of-Line Test Systems
  • Conversant with .NET C#, SQL and version control systems (ideally Git)
  • Experience with leading a small team of engineers (up to 4 members)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with robot and cobot systems would be a huge advantage
  • Experience in project execution in an international matrix organization would be an advantage

Required education:
 
  • University degree in Engineering or Technical discipline (or acceptable equivalent)
  • Further education in engineering, computer science or management would be advantageous
  • Local language skills, fluent English language (CEF level B2/C1), other languages are an advantage
